I’m a photographer and middle school math teacher who believes in capturing the real, joy-filled moments that make life meaningful. Whether it's your kid’s first soccer goal, your senior’s last school year, or a family photo where everyone’s actually smiling—I'm here for it. I specialize in natural, vibrant portraits and sports photography for kids, teens, seniors, and families—no stiff poses, just real memories.
Outside of photography and teaching, I’m #beingauntmare to my amazing nieces and nephews, a lover of hikes, bikes, nature, and all things personal growth. Let’s make some magic with a camera—on the field, in your favorite park, or wherever you feel most like you.

After seeing her work, we asked Maryellen to do our family photos over the summer. She made the process easy from start to finish. She scouted a location based on what we wanted and had different poses and areas of the beach planned.

Having our family photos taken with Maryellen was an all-around excellent experience!
